Point Park University is a private, nonprofit school in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Point Park University was founded in 1960 and presently has around 3,591 students per year year, including 2,791 undergraduate students. Point Park University ensures on-campus housing for up to 1,070 students. The majority of students live on campus but first-year students are not required to live in the dorms. We will have coloring books, posters available, and color pencils available to everyone. PNC will be on hand for an “ask a banker” session where you can have an open conversation on various financial topics. Talk savings, building your credit, refinancing, retirement, mortgage, and even ask about information on funding your own business. Yoga mats will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own. We recommend you sign up for a session time, as space is limited in the dance studio. Registration is required ahead of time through PointSync so that we can make sign in easier and provide the expected attendee numbers to CulinArt.
Point Park is home to five colleges and schools offering bachelor’s degrees in over 70 academic majors. For theatrically-inclined students, Point Park operates The Pittsburgh Playhouse where students in the Conservatory of Performing Arts can be cast in professional shows. With a campus in the heart of downtown, Point Park is a short walk from attractions such as the Heinz History Center and Fort Pitt Museum.
