This membership seems cheap, but does anyone have any real world experiences with this membership. In my most recent landing the WiFi needed special access for done devices, took a few days to track that down. The full time employees are based in Alabama and California. Move in process is excellent – a host came and helped me bring all my stuff into the apartment and even left me a care package and card. Apartment is generally good – furnishings are comfortable and stylish, but to call them “luxury” is a stretch . Wish the bedroom had a dresser, but I’ve made the closets work.

24 hours after reporting the issue and after a follow-up call from me, Landing reports that they haven’t been able to convince any of their local gig economy workers to come check it out. They found a garage door opener in the apartment from their previous landing tenant (???), which solved one of those two problems. Landing installed a keypad on my door, that solved the other.
My partner prepaid for our entire stay rather than paying monthly. We get a call from someone from landing telling us that we must pay an additional $1,000. And the answer was “property raised rent prices” … I just wanna know how that’s our issue. Im working with LANDING, that means that’s their issue because everything was already PAID for. We refused to pay that $1,000 and they were able to somehow “work it out”.

I don’t mean to comment so much, might seem like spam, but I’ve just seen a good amount of unsatisfied people stay with this company and don’t recommend it. Has anyone tried out this new short-term rental startup, Landing? From looking at their website, I wonder how in the heck they’re making any money. Usually, furnished short-term apartments are about 30–50% more than a 12-month lease, but from poking around their Arlington listings, I can’t figure out where their upcharges are. Any hiccups after initial move in are extremely hard to address.
